In France, 10.000 deaths a year are reportedly due to nosocomial infections, that is infections caught from within a healthcare setting. Eighty percent of exogenous infections are said to be carried via touch. Hence the importance of high quality hand washing products and systems, as well as disinfecting products for surfaces and instruments.
